An incurable romantic, Ann K. Simpson was raised with big dreams in the deep South. She collected a few degrees, including a master's degree in journalism from UT Austin that made her a forever fan of compelling stories and the serial comma. Her contest-winning fiction has appeared in Say Good Night to Illiteracy, Transformation, and the Texas Bar Journal, and her nonfiction has appeared in various magazines and newspapers.
